Join surrealist landscape painter Cheryl-Ann Hills for a 3 hr workshop in her home studio in Hamilton Ontario and learn how to create a surreal landscape painting in a solvent-free environment! For ages 14+ Some previous painting experience recommended.
In this class you’ll learn how to:
Develop a surreal approach in the landscape
Find shapes in the landscape
Use gradients to develop form
Simplify the composition
Develop a narrative in the work
Students will receive a recommended materials list upon registration however you are free to use any fluid medium for this class. Oils, watercolour, gouache, inks and acrylics.
When: Sunday October 5th, 2025 1pm to 4pm
