The best way I know how to share the incredible views and experiences of Ontario North is to show you. So, here we go. Let me show you a world of big Precambrian rocks, gorgeous views of a Great Lake and chance meetings with moose and other wildlife.
What
We will explore the views up to 2 hours out from our homebase. This provides us with lots of inspiration and time to truly explore.
Enjoy time outdoors creating art with like-minded artists
Enjoy meals and campfire chats together
Enjoy swimming, hiking and canoeing
Daily Guided Hike and Paint Adventures
Discover areas of Ontario you haven't seen before
Create work inspired by the geological history of our country
Share in a mini exhibition show and sale when we return - location TBD
Accommodations: rustic cabins both private and shared available with full kitchen and bath and easy access to the beach
Where
A 4 day weekend retreat in Northern Ontario in one of two locations:
Whitefish Falls Ontario - access to Northern Georgian Bay, La Cloche Mountains, Manitoulin Island and Chutes Provincial Park. approximate travel time to Whitefish Falls from Hamilton is 5 hrs one way.
Batchewana Bay Ontario - access to Lake Superior's shoreline across the street from our cabins, Lake Superior PP including Agawa Bay and Old Woman Bay, Pancake Bay PP, Batchewana Bay PP and Chippewa Falls. approximate travel time to our cabins at Batchewana Bay from Hamilton is 9 hrs one way.

June 19 to 22, 2026 - recommended departure time is 5am

Sept 25 to 28, 2026 - recommended departure time is 5am
Cost
A this time I am gaging interest in this outdoor adventure. Once I receive at least 4 participants per location/date I will confirm pricing and details. Please indicate your interest by selecting Pre-Register and completing the form. Average cost for the entire 3 night/4 day weekend retreat is $550 - $700 - Additional costs: meals are the responsibility of each guest, there is no on-site cook. Transportation is also your responsibility, however, I will be attempting carpooling to reduce costs and share driving.
