Family Gathering
The title, Family Gathering comes from my imagining these beautiful ice mountains floating together like family, along their route as they slowly melt into the sea. These are entirely imagined landscapes as I have not yet had the opportunity to witness icebergs in person.
These were created as a series of seven pieces, all icebergs. Most have been collected by those who have real memories of these majestic ice forms along the East Coast of Canada.
The beautiful teal and gold palette provides a nice contrast and will pair nicely with your decor.
This original painting is 20” high and 20” wide with a depth of 1.5”. The artwork wraps halfway around the edges which are then finished in black. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
