Northward Bound
A familiar view for those who travel north on Highway 11, 17 or the 400. The rocks of the Canadian Shield seem to grow larger and larger the further north you travel. The roads are cut through these rocks and rise up on either side on many sections of these highways. I enjoy noting the many varied colours and textures of the rocks. Like a natural gateway to the North, its a scene that inspires excitement for the views to follow upon arrive at the lake or cabin in the woods.
Northward Bound boasts a cool palette of blues that will complement any decor from a cool wall to warm accessories.
This original painting is 30” high and 24” wide with a low profile depth of .75”. The artwork wraps around the edges. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
