Ice Castle
The name of this imagined iceberg painting derives from the 1978 film Ice Castles. I was a competitive figure skater in my youth, the movie was a favourite of mine. The forms used in the composition reflect the shapes of a castle with a peak and a fortress feel surrounded by water.
The beautiful blues and lilac palette are stunning in any setting and will provide moments to pause and reflect.
This original painting is 24” high and 24” wide with a depth of 1.5”. The artwork wraps halfway around the edges which are then finished in black. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
