Blue
Blue was painted out of the studio, in a back alley bar while a local blues band played and an audience watched us; painters and musicians. A few of my fellow artists were there that evening too, also painting and enjoying the ambiance of the evening.
Created entirely from my imagination and my lived experiences in nature, Blue expresses a funky rock island in a cool blue lake with the soft moonlight peeking through the clouds.
This original painting is 20” high and 20” wide with a depth of 1.5”. The artwork wraps halfway around the edges which are then finished in black. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
