Aux Sables River
The Aux Sables river runs through Massey Ontario and can be viewed in its spectacular glory at Chutes Provincial Park. This wild untamed waterway boasts rapids and falls with beautiful rock features along its banks and in its stream. This particular section is one of my favourite places to paint. I created a smaller piece en plein air (outdoors on location) of this view and then created this larger scene to capture all the best parts, the ancient rocks, bubbling river and majestic pines.
Created in a beautiful warm bronze palette, Aux Sables River will complement any decor becoming a centre piece of the room.
