Hidden River
Occasionally, I will create work just from a photo provided by someone other than myself. Usually it happens when you request a commission. Sometimes its a story shared with me about an adventure you went on and the things you saw and experienced. This was the case for this painting here. My daughter had visited western Canada and hiked in Joffre Lakes Provincial Park. She spoke about her experiences in the park and shared some photos with me. This piece was inspired from that story and photos.
This scene featured here I reimagined the scene with the glow of morning light and allowed the distant mountains to be more clearly visible between the trees, adding more depth to the scene.
The beautiful blue, green, and lavender palette will complement any decor.
This original painting is 30” high and 24” wide with a depth of 1.5”. The artwork wraps halfway around the edges which are then finished in black. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
