February Heatwave

$865.00

As climate change becomes more and more apparent its affect on us and on nature cannot go unnoticed. During a walk at the Grindstone Marsh in the Royal Botanical Gardens I saw the marsh aglow with the cool light of spring, albeit a false February spring. The warmth of the golden grasses of winter contrast with the cool blues of the water and sky.

The beautiful gold and blue palette will provide a quiet and contemplative space to your home or office.

This original painting is 24” high and 30” wide with a depth of 1.5”. The artwork wraps halfway around the edges which are then finished in black. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
