Cherry Sundae
Painted en plein air (outdoors on location) Cherry Sundae is my interpretation of the cherry trees in bloom at the Royal Botanical Gardens in spring 2025. The day was grey but the brilliance of the trees blooms brightened up the garden with their soft glow.
This original water-based ink painting 8” high and 10” wide with a depth of 1.5”. The artwork wraps halfway around the edges which are then finished in black. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
