The backbone of modern society often are the farmers and rural caretakers of the land that provide us with food. Farming homesteads are an interesting subject that I will likely explore further in the coming years. This painting created with water-based inks is an interpretation of a family homestead, its expansive fields and out buildings. The early autumn sky was heavy with thick cloud formations that reflected the sun’s light.
This original watercolour painting is 18” high and 24” wide on 140lb watercolour paper. ALL artwork in the Sketches, Drawings and Experiments section arrive without frames or hanging hardware. Small work is shipped flat in padded envelopes. Larger works are rolled and shipped in a tube. However, if you prefer, I can source framing for you and provide that as an add-on option.
