Coming in Hot

$195.00

An entirely free-form painting, the goal was to use hot colours and see how far I could push them. Suffice to say, these are pretty hot. The forms are somewhat recognizable but still remain abstract in form and purpose. Its a decorative piece but also provokes thought.

This piece is an experimental piece. Sometimes I will repaint a canvas when I want to try a new style, approach or process. So in a sense these are “prototypes” of work to follow.

This original painting is 20” high and 16” wide with a depth of 1.5”. The artwork wraps halfway around the edges which are then finished in black. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
