Wee Moods #3
In spring 2024 I presented a solo exhibition at the Royal Rose Gallery; “Superior Moods”. The collection is inspired by a visit to the north shore of Lake Superior in the following year in early autumn. I was cloud watching over the big lake. And it did not disappoint. I created 7 large works and 9 “Wee Wons”, small 8” paintings on birch panels.
The work is created in a soft abstract style featuring flowing lines, cool hues and contemplative cloud shapes. The great part about collections is that they work well together. You can pair up two or more and they fit well together providing an impactful gallery wall.
This small original painting is 8” high and 8” wide on cradled birch panel with a low profile depth of .5”. The edges are finished in black or natural providing a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame. These fit easily into an envelope and can be shipped anywhere in the world.
