Halibirches Mist
Inspired by a photo taken by my daughter, this piece is a familiar scene in Haliburton Ontario. A beautiful hidden lake surrounded by birch and alive with the morning mist rising from its surface.
This piece is an experimental piece. Sometimes I will repaint a canvas when I want to try a new style, approach or process. So in a sense these are “prototypes” of work to follow.
This original painting is 24” high and 24” wide with a low profile depth of .75”. The artwork wraps around the edges. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
